Carpet Moth Treatment
Is something eating your carpet?
If you are noticing bald patches of carpet around the edges of your rooms or under items of furniture there is a good chance you have an infestation of carpet moth. If this is the case we can help.
The unseen enemy
You may have an infestation of carpet moths in your carpet but have never seen a moth! You may ask how can this be? Because it's not the moths that actually eat your carpet at all. It is their larvae which are the problem. A single carpet moth can enter your home undetected and lay up to 200 eggs! These eggs become the carpet moth larvae which are small maggot like creatures. The carpet moth larvae are often visible as they lay on the surface of the carpet in their white silk cases which are about 5 mm in length. They look very much like tiny white cigars.
